Snoop Dogg

Thank you for your patience as we worked behind the scenes with Snoop Dogg’s team to reschedule his April 25 show at MAD. The rescheduled date will be October 3 - Snoop Dogg w/ special guest Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will headline Musicfest 2020!

We encourage you to hold onto your email confirmations of previously purchased tickets, they will be honored at the new date. Hard tickets were to be mailed out 21 days in advance of the show to prevent speculative ticket sales on resell sites.

Tickets for the new date will be sent out 21 days prior to October 3, unless you request a refund. If you cannot attend the October 3 date and would like to request a refund, please contact danielh@eldofest.com. Please note refunds may take 3-5 business days to process.

Again, we appreciate your patience during this time; we encourage you to stay home if you can, practice social distancing and stay safe as we all navigate through uncharted times. We can’t wait to see you in October.

MURPHY ARTS DISTRICT CLOSES THE GRIFFIN RESTAURANT, ANNOUNCES SHOW UPDATES

In accordance with Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson’s state-wide directive, the Griffin Restaurant has ceased its operations.

“It is with great regret that like many other entities in the hospitality and entertainment industries, we have had to lay off most of our staff,” said Murphy Art District CEO Terry Stewart. “We have retained a small group of employees temporarily to ‘mothball’ the facilities at this time.”

The Danny Gokey show on April 26th has been canceled.  Refunds are available at point of purchase (Eventbrite.com). In turn, Ron White’s scheduled appearance on May 14th has been rescheduled to December 17th. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date.

MAD’s seasonal farmer’s market will be paused for 2020 and return in 2021.

“We are incredibly hopeful that we will have a full lineup of shows this fall for the community to enjoy,” said MAD COO Pam Griffin. “MAD is currently working with agents and artists to reschedule other upcoming shows including Snoop Dogg. Updates will be posted on eldomad.com as they become available.”

On Wednesday, March 25 MAD will host a virtual art workshop for children called “Matisse’s Garden” via Facebook Live.  Art educator Gay Bechtelheimer will read the book Matisse’s Garden by Samantha Friedman. Afterwards, using scissors, construction paper, and glue, she will guide children as they create their own composition inspired by the magic of Matisse’s scissors.
